I read earlier in the newspaper about Hurricane Ivan over in the USA. I hope that if another of you guys are/were in the danger area you're all ok.
We don't really get these in the UK.

I'm up here in New England, I don't get these kinds of things, except the occasional snow storm.

You live in Massachusetts, right? I used to live there and one year we had about 3 hurricanes brush the coast.......I remember heading out to the beach and seeing 15-20ft. waves pounding it. The Northeast rarely gets direct hits, but this year we have been swamped by the remnents of almost every hurricane that's hit land. In 1999 Floyd came right up the coast and moved right over New Jersey. The eye of the downgraded tropical storm passed over Newark and slid by New York City.

I don't get anything that bad, In southern Canada. There has been tornado watches & warnings in cottage country up north (during the summertime).

Yes, I live in Massachusetts, All we got from these last hurricanes, was the last of them, just rain and wind.
