Splashzooka mod

Post by VAJMH » Fri Jun 25, 2010 1:16 am

So, does anyone know how one might go about nozzle modding a zook? I have a spare and I'm curious if I could create a larger cps 2000 size nozzle for it so that it'd be real heavy artillery. With a PC that large that would be a formidable weapon indeed.

The problem is the nozzle is also the filler. Now I can make it attachable directly to a hose but I'm wondering if theres anything special in the stock nozzle that enables the super charge deal, since thats the only way to charge the gun. Thoughts? Experiences?

The Splashzooka isn't powerful enough to use a real large nozzle, and if you manage to get it powerful enough to push out a large nozzle, then you won't be able to fill it from most hoses except very powerful ones.

well cancel that plan then = ( I figured with that much water in it being able to fire a larger burst would make it a really great gun.

If you drill out the nozzle you risk damaging the sc fill port, and turning your gun into a piece of plastic

Edit: Yeah, I wasn't thinking clearly at 1:00 AM

Usually you can drill SC's without damaging anything, though it is still trickier than the average nozzle. You may end up with a very bad nozzle with poor stream performance if the drilling isn't clean. However, the rotation of the nozzle may destroy the spring behind it. Without that spring it still works, but behaves quite annoyingly and the spring must be removed or it could block the stream resulting in piss poor range.
