Hello guys... I am seriously in awe at the amount of attention being paid to the CPS 2000. I got it when it came out, but haven't used it in years. I would estimate for the past 7 years it has been lying on its side in the dirt by the side of my house. I bet you anything it still works, though. Those super soakers, they're resilient.
I'm pleased to find out people still like these guns. I had a lot of fun with Super Soakers when I was a kid.
Wow, I had no idea my dirty old CPS 2000 was in so much demand!

Welcome to the forums! I know, nostalgia is simply an amazingly overwhelming emotion. Reclaiming one's childhood is priceless.
The CPS 2000 is a very nice weapon, and I'm sure it'll still work well. If anybody you know has a power washer (a real one, not a homemade soaker), then you could try taking off the dirt with that--just don't damage the plastic.
