Need some advice please
I'm a sniper in my little water war team, but since most of my weaponry is highly outdated and none of it is any good for sniping. I'm looking for a new gun, suitable for sniping. I willing to go for anything air pressure, CPS, SoakerTag, anything. Within reason (about 40 quid.)

Good point. A CPS 1000 would actually be better because it is more powerful, has a better range and has a higher output. I used to have one until it broke after 3 years but again these things are only plastic so in my view 3 years is quite a good lifespan. I am even thinking about getting another one soon. If you see one pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

I personally think it would be an excellent sniper weapon, but I've never used one, so I don't know what the long-range accuracy is like. If it's good, then yeah, some sort of a scope might be worth having.Originally posted by hunter@Feb 18 2005, 04:42 AM
Would it be a good idea to use a WBL as a sniper weapon? If so, should I put a scope on it? (It would be useful to scare the newer people) ^_^

I wouldn't use a WBL as a sniper, because of the reload time and how they can't be safely used at close range. Welliot, Spinner has a few guns which you could buy, a 1500 would make a decent sniper and he has one for sale (I believe). If you can get a 1000 I would recommend it. But the stream is too wide for a sniper in my opinion, better for running into combat as an assault rifle.
