Hi,
Like the weak cps4100 trigger, does the monster xl also have weak spots in it construction?
I like to buy one (from a local auction site or Ebay) but since they're all in used state i like to know if there are parts that can break easily.
How durable are these guns?
Since there not cheap i want to find one that actually keeps working.(i don't mind if it has a minor leakage or scratches)

The MXL is fine. The CPS 4100 Mk.2 (the SoakerTag re-release) is the only gun that has a trigger notoriously prone to breaking, although I believe the CPS 2100 Mk.2's trigger is similar. All other guns, including non-Mk.2 CPS 4100s, should be fine.
Of course, Super Soakers with Max-D triggers (the Max-D series, recent water guns, etc.) have issues with the springs weakening.
The MXL should be fine though.
