Hey everyone! I'm kinda new to this site, and I've never done any mod-ing on any of my guns, but I thought it would be fun to try. I've got an XP310 that I've had for a couple years now; I still like it, but its not to powerful. I've been lookin around on the site and had some great ideas, but I'm not sure whether or not I'm doin this stuff right.

First of all, I tried doing the XPS mod. I put 5 12" balloons in each PC, and I have noticed a great difference with the shot power. The problem is that now it is really leaking a lot, especially out of the pump tube, and it makes a lot of noise when I pump (which isn't good because I wanna use it for sniping)

I also made some changes to my nozzles. The two middle sized ones were basically worthless, so I enlarged them with a screwdriver to make a new massive and massiver nozzle. Does this really help at all? Or would I just be better off with taking off the whole nozzle selector?

I would also like to do a check valve freeze, but I don't know where the stupid thing is. If anyone with an XP310 wants to help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you have any ideas/comments for me, please share...

To fix the pump leaking, you could do this mod. Remember to always check a few sites (especially this one). You also may want to lubricated that pump, it's also in the mods section under

You're supposed to drill the nozzles. More info is in Modding 101.

The check valve should be in the same spot as the Max-D 6000, if it's not, then I'll try to help you later.

Right now, I am currently out of electrical tape for the pump, would duct tape work just as well? I tried it out but I had trouble getting it to fit back in and then pump easily.

I found out that the little pressure gauge they put on the gun was leaking air and water, so I plugged it up.

How many balloons should I use for the XPS mod? I used 5 of the 12" balloons, and they were hard enough to get on. But is that really enough?

Also,I've never seen the inside of a Max-D 3000, so I don't know where the check valve would be on my XP310.

Duct tape has little strings in it and is to wide for the job. Electrical tape is made of rubber, relatively thin, and much easier than adding an extra O ring. Duct tape might just screw up your pump and make it worse, I'd stick with the electrical.

Max-D 6000 internals were on the site the entier time.

I see that the XP 310 is different though. Doesn't matter still, the spot you have to cut out is in the attached image. Can I use this image on the site for the check valve freeze article and XP 310 internals article?

I found a new problem....When I did the XPS mod. Whenever I pump it up all the way and shoot it, the balloons will pull themselves out of the PCs, go through the tube, and get stuck near the nozzle.

Go ahead and use the pictures for the site, I can get plenty more if you need them.

Did you put the balloons over the gasket? Because if you didn't then that makes sense. You might want to glue on the chambers either way. Just do what the article says and there shouldn't be any problems.
