Schrader valve
Where does everybody get schrader valves from. I am in Pennsylvania. I usually have to take a bike tire and dremel off the rubber and put glue onto it then hammer it into a cap to make a valve. This scares the crap out of me though when i have to go take the pump off of the pressurized gun because i think the valve might shoot off and rip through my hand.

Re: Schrader valve
For schrader valves, you could always try bicycle parts shops (not shopping for bicycles...) or bicycle repair shops; that way, you could buy the valves directly, or get old tires to get the valves from.
I got mine from an auto parts store; it was a bit pricey (for my dad, like always) at $5- $6, but it sounds a lot easier than what you're doing.
Basically, try anywhere you might think they use schrader valves (mainly cars and bikes) since they'll be likely to have some.

I'm fairly certain Lowes or Home Depot sells ones that can be threaded into a bushing like I used on Supercannon II. I've bought several from McMaster-Carr as well.

Re: Schrader valve
The ones I use i got from Pep Boys (auto parts store) They're for tubeless tires. I dont know if you have PepBoys in PA. I think they were 2 valves for just over 4 dollars.
this is what my valve is like:
heres a thread I made about them a little while ago http://forums.sscentral.org/t5133
edit: the black thing on the left is the gasket for a larger hole

Re: Schrader valve
I believe he means tubeless tire valves that snap in. They have the schrader connection on one end and a "bulb thing" on the other. I believe they're the same kind used in the homemade check valve.
