I'm opening my CPS 1000 right now and I've done everything except getting that nozzle cap off. How do you do it?
Oh yeah :Hey, that's funny.: . When I opened it up I found a large spider web with a dead spider in it. (Don't ask)

I had this problem with my previous one. It can't come off easily! You need to get a screwdriver and gently and gradually try to pry it off.

This is taking me FOREVER. I tried prying it on the top but the cap started chipping. Also when I get under the cap when prying, it cracks. It's so frustrating. Also, only one side is moving...

That's what happened to me as well. It is nearly impossible to get it off cleanly without chipping pieces. You again have to do it each side gradually. Its a pain in the neck!

Well, the nozzle cap on my CPS 1000 is easy to get off too. Just tried yesterday evening. Like you said in your article some are glued hard (which was on my first CPS 1000) and some like the CPS 1000 I have now are pretty easy to get off. ;)
