Welcome to the forums! You might try to take a picture then post it on the repair forums and include a discription.

I'm running the risk of looking stupid here but how do I post a pic? I see that I cannot post an attachment, if that matters.

You need to host the image elsewhere. Try going to photobucket.com and signing up there. That's as easy as it gets, and it's completely free! Once you get on it's pretty much self explanatory, but if you need any more help, just ask.

Don't feel stupid. A lot of new members ask that.

Ok, thanks!
Here it is....I think. I'll upload a better pic later but you will get the idea.

Welcome to Super Soaker Central, Ichabodv, and I hope you enjoy your experience!

I saw your CPS 2000 bladder repair thread, and it looks like Ben can guide you the whole way. Good luck with the repair, and you'll probably have an even stronger gun in the end if you manage to pull it off.

As to the question of image hosting, once you find a host (Photobucket, for you and me), you can have the image appear in your post. Go to your Photobucket account, and you'll see an array of all your uploaded pictures. Click on one of them, and you'll be taken to a page designated to that picture. Then, copy the URL of that page, and return to your SSC post. In the standard post editor, there is a row of tools at the top (Bold, Italic, Underline, List, Bullet...); one of those tools has an icon that looks like a picture of a mountain. When you click on it, a popup will appear, and paste the URL of the image you're linking to. Then, when you submit your post, the actual image (as opposed to the link) will appear in your post. The method you use depends on personal preference: displaying the actual image might slow down page loading for some people, but it's easier to see.

I see you edited your earlier post to include the picture rather than the link...and for me, the large size wasn't too big a problem because I just used Mouse Gesture's image zoom out control. However, for other's convenience, rescale the picture when you have time--because getting the big picture :p is more important than the finer details you'll get at high resolutions, at least for repair pictures.

Well, the image here no longer exists, so... How did this turn out?

Are you asking how his repair turned out? If you hadn't noticed, it was a success...just check out the Repairs subforum. In fact, his new LRT bladder is just as powerful and has even greater capacity than the old one, and he deserves a round of applause.
