First thing, this is not about "General Soaking", this should go in Off-Topic.Originally posted by Drewsky92@Jul 26 2004, 08:55 PM
How do you consider a topic new or old? Is it like first page-new and second or older=old?
I'd say 2 to 3 weeks old, but even resurrecting topics a week old can be annoying if you have nothing good to add to the discussion. <_<

I don't think that posting in old topics is always bad. I think there should be more posting in old topics because there are some really great ones with good discussions that have been lost in time. Posting in old topics, and not just a week or two old, where appropriate I think should be done. This would help prevent the same topics being posted endlessly over and over again. I did just post in the "favorite computer/video game" topic which was created in April 2003, but I think that topic is not over and some good content can still be added to it. Of course I don't want people to rush into all the year old topics, just there are a few good ancient ones that deserve new activity.
