I lost my QFD to my splashzooka. I was thinking about buying a Monster X new-in-the-box at ebay. Will the monster QFD work with the splashzooka?

Im not so sure. The quickfill adapter on the zook looks a bit different. The quickfill is not the main reason why you buy a MX, is it?

Its one of the reasons Im not a big quickfill only fan. Loose 1 little part, and the soaker is sXPBackfire-esque.

I read this on the Monster X decription at isoaker."Make sure, however, to use the QFD supplied with the Monster and not the regular QFD. Though the adapter will fit, the size and weight of the Monster may damage regular QFDs". I wonder is it works the other way around to.

No way! The MX is an super-powerful watergun. QFD or no QFD.

Don't double post, use the edit button. ;)

The Monster QFD will work with all Larami QFD Super Soakers. The Monster one is just stronger to handle the bigger weight of the Monster series. That's all.

Btw, in your sig you mentioned K modding a CPS 2000. You can not K mod a CPS 2000, you can collosus it. They are the same concept just different mods because K modding only works on one type of CPS, the same as collosusing only works on one kind of CPS.

I don't know how the MX compares to the MXL but, I have broken 5 quick fillers with it. One of which was the reinforced one. Which really is just some cheap plastic welded to the outside. I recommend you either push the quickfiller into the MX when it is lying down, or have someone else guide the quick filler straight in.

I've been thinking about making a homemade QFD that will work just like the old QFD. I really don't have time now to do it. If someone wants to develop one, feel free to, it will help us all. ;)
