CPS 600 - Does it exist?

Post by MarsGlorious » Sun Jul 13, 2008 12:17 am

Well, I was looking through ebay and I found this.

"CPS 600, I've never heard of that." So looked on Isoaker, nothing. Is this a scam, lost CPS or have I just not heard of it before?

There is no CPS 600. This is just a simple case of mistaken identity. The gun's a SC 600. It seems that whoever did the auction didn't read the label on the gun. Maybe the gun's missing it; I don't know. Either way, it's just a SC 600.

No it is not a scam. I instantly recognise that as a SC 600. What makes you think it is a scam.

No, it's an actual SC 600. I guess since it uses CPS technology, the seller mistook it for a CPS series. Or maybe he knows CPSs are popular and wanted to put CPS in the description.

Actually, Goldfish, I think the SC 600 are air pressure, even though they use quick fill devices.

I can't say the seller looks that reputable though. As a rule I don't even look at sellers who have under 98% or 99% positive reviews.

isoaker says SC600 and 500 are CPS, the 400 is air pressure though.

As Drenchenator and cantab has already stated, it's a case of mistaken labeling (even though the sticker on the side clearly says "Super Charger 600". :P

It's an SC600; it is CPS-based; it has the power akin to XP-class blasters, but no firing angle restrictions. Me, I prefer the SC500 over the SC600, though some people have stated their preference for the SC600.

So while CPS based, performance is going to be more similar to the newer pistols like the devastator or flash flood/arctic blast's stream nozzle right?

According to iSoaker.com, the gun has similar performance to the guns you're talking about, cantab. The SC 600 is a lot larger than either the Devastor or Flash Flood though.
