Well, yesterday my XP 150 came in. It was broken, but only somewhat. The trigger valve didn't close all the way, so for a quick repair I pulled forward the trigger a few times and it actually fixed it. Also, the guy ripped me off completely on shipping, it only cost about $5 to ship it but he charged me $12. What an butt, he's sure getting a huge negative comment on that when I get around to writing it. Still was somewhat of a good deal, it's an original 1993 mk1 XP 150.

Opening the package (he shipped it in shoe boxes), I found that it was larger than I expected. This is a gun comparable in size to a CPS 2100, it's actually longer. It's an unfair comparison to liken it to an XP 310 or Max-D 6000.

Anyway, I got to use it in a short ~ 1 minute long battle. My brother didn't think it'd be that good because it doesn't have a too high output. It was somewhat of an old versus new battle, I had an XP 150 and he had a CPS 2100. Of course I won, the pump on the XP 150 is amazing, not only is it huge (well over 2 ounces I am guessing), but it also is transparhent, you can see the water while you are pumping it in! The extra large pump shaft volume combined with already full PC is a good combo, I was pumping while shooting and it extended the shot time indefinetly. That is the XP 150's true value, I kept going when he had to pump.

The only bad things I see are the range and reservoir volume. Range is average, not really a problem. Reservoir volume is very low, I wish they had put a larger tank on it.

Testing out the riot-blast was very disapointing. First, I didn't expect there to be an O-ring and screen in there when I screwed off the nozzle. That makes this un-battleworthy alone, I may lose those pieces. When I tested it, it only shot about 5 feet, much less than useful. Call me spoiled, but when I think of a riot-blast I think of an APH shooting 30 or more feet from a 3/4" nozzle.

The XP 150, 95, and 75 are great guns, the riot-blast on the 150 gun isn't the best though, you're better off using the normal nozzle.

The XP 75 is *almost* equal to the XP 310/MD 6000, it's just a slight bit more powerful, and it has a tiny bit longer range, the downpoint of it is that the 75 doesn't have a nozzle changer.

I have six XP 150. Half of them are a little weired right now <_<. But yeah you can see right through the place were the pump go's in and out. Xp 150 are pretty good and I call them assaualt rifles. But thats just me.

Btw On like 2 of my xp 150 have worn down threads and so the tank always falls of so I was wondering how do you do the backpack mod on it? Also you said a you can screw the nozzle off do you like keep turning it because I didn't know it could come of.

I'm likely going to do a few mods to my XP 150. I've been thinking of opening it to strengthen the trigger valve like XN did to his XP 150's, and do the rubber band mod to close it completely. I'm not going to do any real power-up type mods, just been thinking of a few mods to make it last another decade (it's 11 years old).

You can take off that screen and only lose a foot or so in range, Doom. It's not a big deal.
Whatever music you listen to probably sucks.

To an 11 year old gun it is. Personally I would have done the same thing.

I still have my old XP-150. I never use the riot blast, and I won't bank on ever doing it. The pump shaft leaks in mine, which loses half it's water, and it's hard to pump. One you shoot mine, it goes pretty far, and it has quite a large stream.
Do not underestimate the power of stupidity in large groups

You obviously don't have an XP-150.
The screen is simply fitted into the removable nozzle. It's not glued on or anything, and is easily removed. It's not like a CPS 1500 screen.

My main problem was in the riot-blast's range. I mean, come on, 5 feet isn't anything. Even if it was 10 feet it would still be terrible. If I wanted too, I'm sure I could have permanently attached the screen, but it's not worth it in my opinion.

I Don't, and I could care less.

Well, thats old technology for you B) Its still a great gun though, one of the older soldiers back when I lived in Maryland had one, we didn't get far with the riot blast, so we called in the heavy assault team. Its still a great assault rifle, one I would use as a backup.
