I would personally choose the Helix for its riot blast capabillities. The Vaporizer is bigger, but less versatile. My second choice would be the Triple Aggressor.

Well, I voted the Helix, but I had kinda already bought it (last Sunday)...

Otherwise, I will be keeping my eyes open for old XPs for sale in shops. Such is the UK...old soakers, hardly any CPSs...

Triple Aggressor only. It basically is this years Max-D 6000, though I think it's more close to the XP 150. I'm going to mod it so that it doesn't have the gimicks, and then do a check valve freeze and other mods like that.

Check dollar type stores for cheap SS clones. You can find some pretty good stuff sometimes. All for a dollar too. I guess for you spinner it would be pound. ;) Do they have stores like that?

If I have some extra cash to spend, I might buy the Helix for its unique stream.

According to isoaker.com, the 3A does not even come close to the Max-D 6000 or the XP 150. It does make sense, since the 3A has to share its pressure with the smaller atachment blaster. I think the triple Aggressor comes closest to the Max-D Secret Strike , if it comes to performance and overall concept. Also, $19.99 is faily pricy for a Soaker which is outperformed by most large Air Pressure Soakers. From what I heared, they do bring back the CPS 2100 and CPS 4100 this year at a similar price. I assume these are repackeged old models with those 2004 soaker tags.

Yes we do DoomSoaker. However, as you probably know DoomSoaker, we have to pay more overall as we pay dollar prices for what you get.

I've put that rather badly, so here is a real example:

Super Soaker Helix (USA) = $9.99
Super Soaker Helix (UK) = £9.99 = 9.99 x 1.9 (approx. exchange rate) = $18+!

I think I've got the maths right, though currrency conversion often confuses me...

I will probably get the 3sa. This is the best time of the year to buy soakers imo. The stores have everything in stock and sometimes have before summer sales (rite aid has a 25% off sale sometimes). Also this is the best time to check local thrift stores for soakers (I just got an XP 65, XP 95 and An XP 240 for 99 cents each&#33 ;) ^_^ (I also found an xp 110 at another thrift store for $3.00 in January)

EDIT: the evil grammar strikes again!

I just tested the XP 65 and 95. Stats:
XP 95
Range About 35 feet. It is like an XP 270 with a really funky tank attach system. The nozzle is 2x
XP 65
About the same. 30 feet range. feels like a sc triple charge. Pics and review on my site soon.

I'm going to have to check out some of these thrift stores, maybe even other stores. Does Rite Aid have a good supply this time? Because today I learned that there is one pretty close to my school.

I went into a rite aid this summer, they had absolutely nothing. I figure if they didn't have anything in the summer, they probably won't in the winter. I spose thats just my personal experience though.

Thrift stores: 4 (XP 240, 110, 95 and 65)

Try late march. You do get some looks from the sales clerks. they ask you stuff like: "isn't it a little early to buy super soakers?" Or "we haven't even got are spring stuff, and your asking for water guns?" of course they said that when I bought my 3200 during a huge rain storm :Hey, that's funny.:

My CPS 1000 I got from K mart, it was the only water gun they had there, and the package looked like it was returned. I actually got a great deal on it, like $10 for a 1000!

I'll check Rite Aid then, it sounds good. :D
