I just found a Storm 500 and Storm 1000 at Walgreens (a whopping $4 total). Is it safe to CVC them? If so, how many times should I pump them if I do CVC them.

It's pretty safe to CVF them. I have pumped my Storm 500 well over 100 times for one shot and nothing bad happened. The shot, of course, was more powerful. The Storm gun plastic is thicker and stronger than that of other PR guns I believe.

Thanks. Do you have any idea when Storm guns were discontinued?

As far as I know they haven't been. I remember talking about there here (maybe it was WWN), do a search and you might find out. Sorry, I don't have time to search for it.

Did it go any further,or was it just more powerful?
Soak, or be soaked that is the question!

I believe that range and output are very related. If it has an increase in output and the velocity isn't too much, most of the time range also will increase. I have done no such tests to prove anything, but the range should increase.
