Bottle shot, Juch style

Bottle Shot

[The extension bmp has been deactivated and can no longer be displayed.]

I gave myself my own objective, to create a cheap, easy homemade out of 5 or less parts. Also, I wanted to create a gun just like Super Soakers ones, but with more power, range, etc.

These come in all different shapes and sizes. I've made 2 so far, one with a 2 liter coke bottle, and the other with a .5 liter soda bottle.

The beginning of the shot. I have no clue the psi (have to get a bike pump with gauge), but it was 15 pumps.

Mid-shot. 15 pumps again.

End of the shot, 10 pumps.

These can be made in all different ways, but here's mine.

Riot Blast

(1) 1/2" ball valve
(1) 1" to 2" 1/2" piece of pipe.
(1) Soda bottle, 2 liter recommended
(1) Tire valve.

You don't seem to have an intake tube, or am I just not seeing it? Without one, you can't shoot all the water out at a positive angle.
I work on Windows. My toolbox is Linux.

I would suggest adding a 90 degree elbow, or at least a 45. It's essentially an air pressure water cannon with cheaper/less parts. They don't work very well without angling the PC.

As an edit, I would not trust bottles for very long. I would use a new bottle probably every week - they weaken with use. You should probably track the pressure too, some are rated to 100 psi, but some to 75.

How does that work without a dip tube? Unless you're pointing it toward the ground, that doesn't look like it should work.
