If you want to replace any hose clamp with another one, I don't see any reason why you can't. Just be aware that if you replace a clamp on the bladder you should use a clamp that won't cut into the bladder or cover the area you'll be clamping with electrical tape.

A garden hose clamp may (or may not) be too large. You may want to check clamps for flexible vinyl tubing to find a better size.

Only if you want to. You could probably get better range with a well-drilled nozzle, but I have little confidence in drilled ones.

how big should it be? same as a 1200 seems like it could have potential.

Think smaller. The main nozzle has small tubing leading to it, as in the Flash Flood, which constricts flow. It's better to do a multiple nozzle modification to the riot blast nozzle, which has a much larger water line.

Plus, a larger nozzle will probably have a bigger impact on shot time than you think.
