i recently built a cps gun that uses a hose connection. the pressure is very constant but the gun only shoots about 15 feet. i used a 1/4'' id LRT ith a 3/8'' od.

Re: cps problem
First, check your nozzles. The LRT you used is very small so you'll need a small nozzle to get any reasonable range. For best performance with LRT, check the CPH article and have a look at its recommendations for using LRT, diameters, etc.

Re: cps problem
That LRT you used is simply too thin. You'll have to buy some thicker LRT from a place like McMaster-Carr. Read my LRT article for more details.

Re: cps problem
That could also be your problem. Depending on the pressure, the optimum nozzle size is probably between 3/16" and 3/8".cps zer0 wrote:the nozzle size is drilled with the smallest bit i own.
