Map Game?

I have considered running a water war map game. For those of you who don't know what a map game is, I will elaborate.
A map game is, in a nutshell, a game where you send me orders for a man/squad/army via PM, and I move markers around on a map representing you/your squad/your army. Like a video game, but much simpler. Expect for me to have the game ready in June-July, because I am already working on rules for a different map game.
The basic idea of the game is where you command a squad of fellow warriors, as well as yourself and soak other people. You will be able to chose equipment for yourself and your soldiers, and there will be NPCs as well.(controled by me)
Anyway, this is now a suggestions thread. I will consider all suggestions, so don't be shy.

Got a CPS 2000 well you know it makes me feel alright,
Have an XP by my pillow, helps me sleep a little better at night.
There truly is no feeling any greater, than to soak first and ask questions later.
Now I'm, Soaker Happy, Soaker Happy every day.

You may have a squad of (currently) 1-6 people. That sounds pretty neat. Would each person have their own army, or be individual members?
If you got enough people to join an alliance, yes.Could you have alliances with lots of people joining up?
The way things are going, you may have the Sabres.show me the rules. I'll most likely join, if I can have the Sabres (sans Armadillo if rules require)
I'm considering using Brikwars for my basic rules, but nothing is concrete yet.I'm intrigued by this idea. I don't know yet if I'd do it, but I await further explanation and rules with interest!
This sounds a lot like Advance Wars on the GBA. I'm definetely in.
Depending on what the rules and conditions are, I'm most likely in.
Thank you all very much for your support. I look forward to running the game.Neat, this look interesting. I'm in.

Armor: How much damage is subtracted from an attack on the unit.
Move:How many hexagons(or squares) a unit may move.
Power:Strength

Yeah, after a huge battle, someone could write a RP about it, and post it on the forums.Originally posted by Commander_Gaunt@Jan 25 2005, 10:00 AM
the idea sounds interesting, it could produce a lot of long RPs.
^This was made by Superstormer. What, do you think it got here on its own?
