Hi there,

I'd love to get a CPS 4100 but I can't get it anywhere here in Germany. I saw it on amazon.com fpr 19.99$, but they are only shipping within US.

Does anybody have an idea how I can get one?

Greetings

If you are flexible, than wait for Spinner to post. He lives in the UK and has a bunch of CPS 1500s and SC PowerPaks he is willing to sell to pretty much anywhere. You could also make a deal with someone and have them ship a 4100 bought of Amazon to you.

Ah, I just saw there is a similar topic a bit below...

[at]Doomsoaker:
thanks for your answer. I can get a CPS 1500 here in Germany, actually I already ordered, but without beeing a soaker pro I like the CPS 4100 more (design, pump, pressure gauge, translucent tank)
By the way: Is the 1700 any better than the 1500?

Is there maybe anyone willing to sell a CPS 4100 and send it to germany?

Greetings

They have them at my local Toys R' Us, but I am not sure if they have any thing left. To tell you the truth, the 1500 (from what I hear) is much better than the 4100. I do know that my local Sports Authority has hundreds of CPS 2100s for only 7 bucks a peice. You are nto goign to find a 4100 for that good of a price anywhere else. And personally I like the 2100 more than the 4100. It has a smoother pump, and the shot has some serious kick to it. Good stream coherency...etc. But this is just my opinion. Whatever you get, shippign from the U.S. to Germany is going to vbe expensive, but a 4100 (being much larger) will be a bit more expensive to ship than the considerably smaller 2100.

Hmm...in that case, what is your opinion: I can get a CPS 1500 over here, should I just get that one and be happy? What I like about the 4100 is the cooler design and colors (however I could paint that 1500). And I think the translucent tank and the pressure gauge could be handy, no?
Also the tracked pump looks a lot more stable...

thanks and greetings

Well actually the tank on the 4100 isn't clear, its opaque(sp?). The yellow is the tank, the blue is just a see through piece of plastic where the CPS chamber fits in. Personally I would be happy gettign the 1500, but if you want more, I would get a 2100 instead of a 4100. There isn't that much difference in power, and the 210 has the track guided pump too. I have both guns and I can tell you, the 4100 is fairly sturdy (some people think its fragile). The 2100 is really sturdy. The 4100 also has a trigger problem. It breaks and is more fragile than most triggers.

Some people think the CPS 1500 is one of the best soakers there is. I would be very happy getting one. They are easier to modify than a CPS 4100, and stock has more output and range I think.

The CPS 1700 pretty much is a CPS 1500 minus some of the problems some CPS 1500s had. The same thing basically, except I like the CPS 1500s colors better.

I have used both the CPS 4100 and CPS 1500 and the 1500 has a just bit more power, but its flaws make me like the CPS 4100 more. The CPS 4100 has more nozzles including a fan, for more balance on the field. The CPS 4100 has a strong, tracked pump while the 1500 has a fragile forward-mounted pump. The CPS 4100 has a light, balanced feel, while the 1500 can weigh down on the back part especially. Overall it really depends on what you like better. Try both guns and buy one of them, though I would reccomend to you the CPS 4100, as I think it is the best gun of 2002 and the best ever, too.

Being the owner of a 1500, I must say that it is one of my best guns. Just a warning though, it has a kinda' weak trigger valve and a weak pump rod. The 1700 is the same gun, just diffrent colors and less problems.
I don't check this forum anymore.

Both of the problems Racer mentioned can be fixed. I need to add an article on how to fix one of the problems, it should be out by the summer. I would get the CPS 1500 anyway because you said there were some you could get. It's a really great gun.

I just received my 1500 in the mail. Most sturdy, smoothest pumping, low noise, most range, excellent power gun I have ever owned. I notice no week trigger, and I fixed the pump shaft by hotgluing 1-1/2 pencils inside the shaft. The 10X shoots farther than the 5X! Amazing! My only complaint is the strap placement. Very hard to use. The gun feels so sturdy otherwise. Like a solid block of plastic.

Be warned if people say a trigger is weak and youres feels sturdy. I learned my lesson witht the 4100. I thought the trigger was quite sturdy despite its reputation and it snapped right off. Bluesmudge, I would reinforce the trigger valve just to be safe. If you do, you won't have to worry about it later.
