Seems this guy was part of the art team for the original Super Soaker series of water guns. Interesting behind the scenes look at some of the problems you'll see at a big company I suppose. The boxes had great art, and I'd love to track this guy down and maybe get some scans of the originals or something. Too bad I likely won't be able to, given that he never posted a real email address and never gave his full name.

That's interesting--too bad they couldn't do anything about the problem of who actually did the work. Then again, it's only one opinion...
I don't know much about the coloring of the classis SS soakers, and I know even less about the coloring of the packaging. I'll take ZOCCOZ's word for it, though.
