How do you get the black thing on the QFD nozzle off? Should I just go at it with a screw driver or do I have to cut it off.

If you mean the "O" ring then I would just cut it off. Snip.... snip...

No, I mean the black thing that is kind of holding the orange QFD part on the soaker.

What are you planning on doing? Because if your gluing the QFD, then just saw it off. I don't see how you can get a screw driver in there to take it out.

NO DON'T DO THAT!
You want to just pry the gun apart. That black thing is chiefly aesthetic. The QFD is the best feature of the gun! Don't saw it off! The gun will come apart if you just keep pulling. I did it myself and my QFD still works great.
Whatever music you listen to probably sucks.

My QFD doesn't work though so I'm in a lose lose situation. If I were to muscle it apart, would I just have to pull on the body panels or is there a certain way, like push one body panel to the front of the gun while pulling the other body panel back to the reservoir? Sorry If I seem a little hecktic, I'm multi-tasking.

Isn't the QFD just a check valve? If so, then you could buy a 1/2" PVC check valve from somewhere, and then glue it on.
I don't check this forum anymore.

Also you might want to do a trigger reinforcment, because my friends trigger snapped right off his monster.

No, I didn't find it hard at all. I measured and it seemed like I gained a little more than ten feet in range. I will get onto the trigger reinforcement right after I get it painted, and backpack modded. Btw, while the soaker is apart, see if you like having the plastic off the soaker that isn't needed. I got ten pieces off and to me it looks cooler without the fake tubes running along the soaker.

Yeah, I've been thinking about Collosussing(sp?) my CPS 4100. But people tell me it's really hard, if you got over 10 feet more range now I'm highly considering doing it to my 4100.
Arsenal:

SplashZooka 65 oz.
CPS 4100
CPS 1200 (soon to get)
Max-D 6000

I added more innertubing to it. Now I have four layers. Only problem, when it is under high pressure, the trigger can't pull the valve that lets out the water! Any way to fix this?
