YESSSSS! I have spotted two XP 70 soakers at K-mart yesterday... but they were in a SoakerTag box? how could this be? are they REALLY making more?

Yes, the myth was true, older ones are coming back.

Oh yeah, when we were in Toys-R-Us yesterday looking for a birthday gift for my friend, this happened:

M: Mom--R: Me

M: Come on, Don't get stuck to the Supersoaker isle, you already have three.
R: IS THAT what I think it is?
Dad: lets get away from here ;)
R: Its Some sorta' CPS? COOL!
D: we arent looking for things for you right now.

"R: BUT ITS IN A SOAKERTAG BOX?"

Sorry if I used a lot of space yapping on about this conversation.

PS: The 2004 soakers are TINY. the Helix is only as big as a CPS 1000, and the 3A is only as big as a 1200.
I don't check this forum anymore.

Neat, well I'm going to WalMart today myself, I'm taking pictures too, a few will make it to the reviews, which I am planning to redo with all the new lines, and a few will make it to the gallery I'm working on. :D I think my local K-Mart went bankrupt last year, I dunno, I'll ask to check that out too.

that's the only cps I've ever heard of them reproducing this year. btw I think I kinda figured out the idea behind the 2100 and 4100, I think their idea was to merge all the spherical cps guns into one, and all the cylindrical cps guns into one, respectively.

Went looking for soakers today.

Woolworths:

Triple Aggressor: £19.99 (~$36)
XP 270: around £10 (~$18)
Max-D 2000: below £10
XP 240: £7.99 (~$14)
Helix: £9.99 (~$18)

Nothing much there.

Toys 'r' us:

Max-D Secret Strike: £11.99 (~$21)
Hydroblade ( :Hey, that's funny.: ): £14.99 (~$27)
XP 270: around £10
XP Triple Play: £9.99, I think

Assistant there was helpful and went to warehouse to check. He said that there was an "eight-barrel" Super Soaker. Well...I was thinking..."what?"...but asked to see it...and he came back with a...Monster X. First one I've ever seen.

Price? £49.99 (~$90).

And copyright date on it was 2000.

So, unsurprisingly, I didn't buy it. Realise how overpriced soakers over here are?

P.S. Also did some phoning around last week. Only actual CPS was a 1200 for £19.99 (~$36), and there were two XP medium assault rifles: XP 110 (£19.99) and XP 310 (~£14.99). All overpriced, in my opinion. <_<

I bought a third Monster X two weeks ago in Canadian Tire for $35.00 CAN. Thats about $26 US.

I went to fred meyer's (great store for soakers) yesterday and was expecting to get a soakertag soaker (im very ashamed, but hey, they look cool&#33 ;) and I saw a max-d 2000 set of 2 with 2 soaker attack balls! so I picked that up. by the way the whole thing was $8.69 with tax. and one more thing: the soaker tag soakers look different than the pics on the site. im guessing those were just prototype pics. and then when I went to blockbuster to rent some movies I saw a max-d 2000 (single pack, buzz-lightyear edition...new colors...w/e) again! if you guys Don't have max-d 2000s, id reccomend getting the 2 pack. they're out, in soaker tag boxes, and 2 makes for one Hasbro HQ of a backup set. ITS TRUE! ITS TRUE! they're remaking them!
