reallly ?
really?...i was wondering if two smaller pc's would make a difference, thanks. im only getting about 25-30ft right now. i really want about 45ft or higher than that if possible, i also was wondering about barrel length, i have seen a thread talking about it i just dont remember where i saw it.

Barrel length doesn't make a difference for this. For water balloon launchers, however, it is important to consider.
Think about it this way. The air is being compressed, so the pressure is in the air. Pressure is force divided by area, so a greater area will yield greater force and more power. Two PCs have two pools of water and two pockets of air, so there is twice as much surface area of the contact between air and water.
What diameter pump are you using? That could make a difference in the power. A narrower pump, definitely nothing larger than 1/2", will allow you to pump to greater pressure, once again because of the pressure equation.

1/2" is definitely required as pumps go, but a single PC is fine--I would go with two just for compactness. Also, you're going to have the same maximum power no matter how many PCs there are--which depends on your strength and the pump. The only thing that changes is the capacity and pressure dropoff of the PCs.
A 1/2" barrel is perfect. It's the smallest common PVC size, so there's plenty of availability; and smaller ball valves are easier to open. Bigger barrels are often used just for riot blasts (with no nozzle on), which only last for a fraction of a second. A 1/2" barrel is fine.

They should have the same pressure anyway - the water should equalise between them.

This sentence added more than enough to meet the minimum length.

Reason: Don't add extra periods at the end just to fit the minimum length. All you needed to do is add another sentence, and not even a long one.
