will these plans for this water gun even work? Its my first homemade.

No, there are no check valves.

Btw, that looks a lot like this homemade I've made (now to be made again with one PC)

Sorry, that's the best image I could find in such short notice.

Don't forget pepper's homemade either, it's a lot like mine too, just doesn't perform as well from what I know.

If you add the 2 check valves, that should work.

ok thanks. yah im kinda new at this. where should I put the check valves?

YOu could do it like this. The arrows are where and what direction the check valves should be going. :P

Yep, that's it. Except that I (and pepper) put the check valve closest to the reservoir always right on the T joint. But it doesn't matter really, it's just the order it's in that counts.
