This is the same CPS2000 that djpalum tried to get somebody to bite on a $750.00 BIN for... But hey, this time he's offering free shipping with a $450 BIN. What a great incentive to pay at least $200 more than it's worth. I mean, sure he lowered his price $300, but I think that's still more than it's worth... at least maybe he lowered his reserve this time...

If his IQ is above 10, he'll lower the reserve.

I'm thinking I should just snatch it on BIN like a minute before the auction is over. Just to piss all of them off. No water gun is worth that much money, unless of course it cost that much in the first place. I wish soakers on E-Bay weren't so idiotized these days...

Ok, lets look at these statistics to back up my statement. The CPS 2000 Isoaker.com reviewed was A MK.2 if I am not mistaken. The CPS 2500 Has a chamber volume of 650 while the CPS 2000 has a chamber volume of 900. The CPS 2000 nozzle shoots 15 meters maximum, while the COS 2500 has a max range of 10 meters. the CPS 2500 has a maxmum output on 23x of 648ml per second. The CPS 2000 on the 30x nozzle can push out 846ml per second.

Sorry to burst YOUR bubble, but all CPS 2000s are more powerful than any other gun than itself (save homemades.) Hate to break it to you, but the statistics Don't lie. -_-

Sorry if this seems stupid but, holy XPBackfire-esque $450.00 (U.S) for a water gun? I'm into water guns and all and I'll buy them for hih prices but wow, thats's where I live if I bought it I'd spend just over $800.00!

Do they not sell these anymore? Is it a super duper gun or what?

I'm not saying you'd be stupid to buy it, I'm just saying wow that's expensive!

Must be an antique. :P

A CPS 2000 can shoot up to 55ft. and has a 30x nozzle. It was the first of the CPS series and is the most powerful water gun ever built to date. The mark 1 was released in 1996 and the mark 2 replaced that but was discontinued in I think 1997. It was discontinued because of the power. A CPS 2000 recently sold for $200 and now every seller of 2000's seems to be making extremely unreasonable BIN prices. Some greedy seller set his reserve so high that when his CPS 2000 auction ended at $182, that reserve was not met and I don't think the gun was sold. The value of the 2000 has been so severely inflated that few people can buy them now.

Sorry Iceman. iSc has a Mk.1 CPS 2000. However, the CPS 2000 Mk.2 IS still notably stronger than a CPS 2500, so you DON'T know what you're talking about, ChaosKnight.

ok... let at least try to set you guys straight....
I have... well had 2 mk 1s as anyone who has been around a while may know. anyone that has been around awhile will also know that they both had blown up PCs, one from me one I got that way. recently I replaced one of the kaput 2000 mk1 chambers wiht a CPS-2500 chamber. its a great gun again. acts the exact same as my freinds CPS-2000 mk2.

so.... lets see.... the 900 ml water capacity is on a CPS-2000 mk1. the CPS-2000 mk2 has the same capacity as a CPS-2500. as of isoakers mesurements it should be 650 ml. so there are variations, only the CPS-2000 mk1 has the 900 ml PC.

next... range. the mk1 does get slightly better range... not a lot better. were talking a few feet here. what the mk2 does lack is power. the mk1 has a very coherent stream that stays together for a very long time. the stream of water has quite a punch when it hits you. the mk2 has good coherency for a water gun, but no where near as good as the mk1. the stream of water is aslo significaly weaker.

as for the nozzle... its the same size 20x nozzle that is found on the CPS-2500, CPS-3000, CPS-3200.... I think thats it that has 20x. but yeah.... people refer to it as a 30x b/c water moves through it faster due to the design of the 2000. (check out my site if ya want more info). this difference is the same difference that makes the 2000 shoot father than the 2500 on 20x. it has to do with the tubeing inside the barrel of the gun. check out my site : http://www.toothpickmatt.netfirms.com/S ... /tech.html for info on the barrel stuff.

so yeah... what else... the price ahhh yes.... I can honelstly say your nuts to pay over $100 for a water gun. the most I would pay for a 2000 is 30, and that would be to go sell it to some nutcase on ebay. these guns are only plastic and do break. THEY ARE NOT WORTH AS MUCH AS THEY GO FOR ON EBAY~! all I can do is roll my eyes.

so yeah.... hope that helped a lil.... hey side note, what the Hasbro HQ happen to wwn.net? I haven't been on since like june and I go there and all of a sudden its like its all been down since july~?! I'm still in wtf mode =P

well take care you all, and hopefuly I'll be back here soon

Something happened to the server and the entire membership database was deleted. WWN was closed and Isoaker made new forums which are here in case you haven't found them yet: iScF Forums
This is the SSC topic on that: WWN Down

50 feet eh? Wow that's pretty good, but I still find it expensive for a gun. I guess people are getting to greedy with their guns.

If a gun is that good why don't they sell it anymore? Well if you tihnk about it, makeing a gun that good would be harder than makeing a CPS 4100. So if they can't have really high prices than they'll be selling more work for less than it's worth. It'd be nice if they still made them, but since companies are only into money these days, that's not going to be happening to soon. Too bad.

Good points, Zook.

At any rate, the auction ended without meeting the reserve... this idiot seller has gotta learn a lesson. I'm glad the reserve wasn't met.

Hahahaha, yeah by now he should get the point. Almost noone would pay 450.00$ for a water gun. Oh, and thanks Soakolagist, I know quite a bit about marketing and stuff.

Do they still sell CPS 2100's?

Remember I'm new to water guns, bare with me. Hey, that's funny.. :D
