Moving to Tech...

PVC should be available everywhere. From what I know, 2 and 3 inch pipe is used extremely commonly in construction. Try checking your phone book for a few businesses. Alternatively, you could order PVC online from any number of retailers (not that it will be as cheap as buying it locally).

In B&Q (probably the biggest builders supplyist in the UK), they had no fittings for PVC and only 1 1/2 inch pipe. No (reasonably priced) PVC stockists I know of on the internet actually tell you what schedule the pipe is (does the schedule matter?). I know of a plumbing specialist near me, but that will be as expensive as most off the net.

You could check Rockys or Home Depot. I don't know a lot about PVC so I don't have anything else to say.

Schedule determines the thickness of the pipe. Schedule 40 is the most common, and if the schedule isn't listed, it's likely schedule 40.

You may want to check out that plumbing specialist. Even if the prices are the exact same as the internet, you'll at least get your PVC home faster.
