Spider-Man Water Gun
I've done a site search on SSC for the Spider-Man water gun I was looking for, and I've found a few topics posted by Vaporizer28 in 2003 and 2004. Has anyone contacted him/her recently? I couldn't find any pictures of the water gun, but here are links to a few of the threads I found:

Second post in this one:

I think it's the 10th down in this one
http://forums.sscentral.org/t1826/2.html
Sorry for none of the links being anyone other than Vaporizer28, but he seems to have gone on about it quite a lot
And I'll post a link to the recent topic where there was a picture with it in (at least I think that's it. Vaporizer might be able to confirm or deny this.

Unfortunately Google filters results by country, browser, etc, so it's not my sixth result. Could you post a link?

That is not my 6th. The one I was talking about was this one:
http://www.stockphotopro.com/photo_of/w ... _water_gun
The person on this forum said it was not SS, andche said it had pump on the back of it, so this is probably what it is.

Atvan, thanks for your help I just need to find out which company made it now
But it makes it look like this one is broken (the firing handle is missing)

Re: Spider-Man Water Gun
This is the blaster in question in my previous post. It is 'a' Spiderman Blaster but it is not the one in the link Atvan posted. There is no 'firing handle'. As you can see there is a traditional trigger. I will have to say that I do think this is a cheap knock off. This blaster is terrible! I've opened it up and the internals look sooooo cheap. It's HUGE though.

Re: Spider-Man Water Gun
The strap looks like it could be taken off and the pump seal can probably be used for a homemade (if it's a water pump), so it could be useful in that regard, lol.

Re: Spider-Man Water Gun
Judging by what I read from the old posts, makeitgo's blaster is probably it. The front grip looks like a pump but does not function, and the pump is at the back. Makeitgo, does the rear pump rotate? I remember Vaporizer saying that it got in the way of aiming but he rotated it. Also he stated that it is PR, is it able to shoot with the cap off? If it can't, that is definitely the gun.
Off Topic: Makeitgo, do you happen to be the modder on Youtube who made the OctoShot?

Sorry if I'm not active much, busy on another forum and another project non-soaker related.

Re: Spider-Man Water Gun
@Strato The foregrip is adjustable. It has a small release tab, that when depressed can move along a notched track. the pump at the back does indeed rotate. There's a pressure guage on the other side but it doesn't seem to work. And it cannot fire without the cap on. So I guess this might be the one.
My review on this blaster is it sucks!
As far as Youtube and the Octoshot.... I am the one and very same.
P.S. If any of you are interested, I'm going to turn this piece of crap into a foam blaster.

I think that strato meant that the front grip was not a pump.
Also, a gun with a PC this big will have long shot and pump times, which is not what you want for a nerf gun. the bad guns here are going to be your best bet. Overload, Arctic Shock. Just take away the reservoir, and put a barrel on it.

Re: Spider-Man Water Gun
@Atvan I wouldn't be using the PC from this blaster. I'm pretty much going to gut this thing and just use the shell. It will become what's known as a 'springer'. It will be similar to my Octoshot and Doomsayers except with a 20 round turret.

Off topic: I can't decide whether or not I should go for a heavier spring with my "Stampede ECS" Nerf gun... Fire rate or power, hard choice.
On topic: Like I said, do a build thread! This is gonna be a nifty Nerf gun. You gonna fire standard darts/stefans, or are you going to go for something larger?

Re: Spider-Man Water Gun
makeitgo that looks like it (of course I was probably about 5 when I used one, so at the time it felt like the best water gun ever). Thanks for posting the closeup of the label, because now I might be able to find my own and put a CPH in it
