Sorry to disappoint you, but I doubt anybody is going to sell you a rare CPS soaker on this forum let alone a CPS 2000. If you're looking for a Super Soaker CPS, your best bet is eBay although I don't believe there are any on there now.
Good luck finding what you're looking for though.

selling

Post by ubiquity » Wed Mar 07, 2007 3:11 pm

Hello, I have a CPS2000 for sale.
I just came across this board and I do realize how rare this soaker is.
Please inform me on how to judge the condition of the gun according to this communities' standards. All I can tell now is that the sticker is missing from the tank. The gun is working for sure. How can I tell if it's an MK1 or MK2?

I will be shipping from the Netherlands. Will take some pics in a moment.

To know which mark it is, just look at the pressure gauge's length. If it is about 4,5 inches long, it's a MK2. If it's longer, well then it is a MK1 ;) .

I recommend you to read wayne's CPS 2000 web page for more info:

Welcome to the forums! There's an article about the differences at iSoaker.com, I'll try to find it. Might not have time today though...

Thanks guys.
It seems to be a MK2 produced in 1997.
Item#: 9797-0
It has the usual scratches on the tank and the sticker is missing.

Hi,
How much would be cheapest available shipping to B.C Canada? Or if its to high, how much would be shipping to germany? (I assume you are trying to sell it here since you mentioned shipping it from the Netherlands.)

Shipping to Canada has two options; Priority: 34 Euro and Economy: 25,30 Euro. Economy shipping can take up to 10 weeks. Shipping to Germany would cost between 20-25 Euro's (will have to calculate the exact amount depending on the weight of the total package).

All options are insured.

Kind regards,

ubiquity

Not to bad considering the shipping is from overseas. Then of course comes the next question which is how much do you sell it for? ;)

Got a certain reserve in mind, just make a nice bid and we'll see.
I'm also concidering putting the gun up on Ebay if I don't sell it thru here soon.

My max bid would be 40 euros(not including shipping). Not as high as ebay since of course this isn't ebay with any garantees or seller feedback. Nothing personal, just cautious. ;)
Of course the decision is yours of selling it for a higher price on ebay.

*bid noted*

TBH 40 euro's strikes me to be on the low side but I understand your concerns and caution. Haven't previously sold anything on Ebay yet, and as far as I can see, you can't set a minimum price (or you will have to pay). Wouldn't like to see an auction to finish on 20 Euro's and then be obliged to ship it for that price ;)

I know there's a way to set a minimum price - that, or you might be able to start the bidding at your minimum price.

Ubiquity, you can set your beginning bid at will without paying extra. Beginning bid can be 1 cent or $100. Its up to you. I think you are thinking of reserve bid.
