If you go to http://www.supersoaker.com and then click on Tech Specks you'll see why it's funny. They give the 3A a 5-out-of-5 intimidation level. More like 0.0000000001 compared with a MXL. Hey, that's funny. :P

I agree with that number. Based solely on the rest of the blasters the 3A might be intimidating. Of course, any CPS soaker would get at least a 7 on thier scale. ;)

Are you kidding? They give the Liquidator a level-4 soakage power rating.

And what about the level 3 special features rating on the Liquidator and the Vaporizer? What are the special features? I can see it now...

The Vaporizer by Hasbro: "The Vaporizer water gun model has amazing special features! When you pump, IT SHOOTS! This gun also has a fast-fill cap, that leaks everywhere when you try to fill it!"

Seriously, though. Where are the "special features?"

Haha, they just do that to make their guns look good. All they want is money, they don't care if they lie to us.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that is called the trick of the trade. B)

Edit-If you click on the link that leads to the super soaker home page, it says "Browse Blasters". They actulally have the brains to call those pecies of XPBackfire-esque a blasters?! Also, on the top-right of the screen, it says"The ORIGINAL High-Performance Blaster.Did they call soaker tag "high performance"? I must be dislexic. :D I just talked to a guy at TRU who used to work at Hasbro in the time of 2000s', and even he said that soaker tag SUCKS!

All in marketing my friend. Newbie’s into the game will look up this information and know what they are talking about, because they will say its "official". For kids who are smart enough to check out the site, it’s solely there to entice them more to buy it, or there for them to prove a point, typical of 95% of the newbie population.

Well that is there trademark, and they may use it how they see fit. However, we see the blasters in another perspective. What is appealing to us and a young one looking to buy a "high performance blaster" are completely different things. If you were in the other shoes, wouldn't you want to buy the best quality product available? Sticking that logo on the site and product will convince consumers to buy, since the name Super Soaker is derived as being the "original high performance blaster" for over a decade now. ;) -jade

Little kids don't know the difference. They just look at the one with the most colors and one with the most button on it. They don't know sh!t about water guns.

You know, XPBackfire-esque isn't censored. ;)

Little kids look really just for a water gun. They are too ignorant to know much anything. Gimmicks work on them, why do you think my little brother has a Triple Play and a Water Worm? They don't know any better.

XPBackfire-esque... Oh well now I know :P

Exactly my brother who plays water guns with me all the time says he wants a 3A because it 'looks cool'.

What is a water worm?

I saw a water worm when I was at Wal*Mart and I think it's just a big and long rubber tube inside a casing that looks like a worm. I think you plug it into this hose adapter thing and it fills and pressurizes the Water Worm. It's pretty much just a useless gimmick water toy made to draw in little kids and make money.

The really sad thing is that the Water Worm is better than any of the 2004 "Blasters". It's enough to make a true Super Soaker fan cry. How could Hasblo do this to us? I sold a K Modded CPS 2100 to a guy on ebay tonight, he wanted to know how well the 2100 will compare to his new Triple aggressor. I told him to compare a fire hose to a dollar store squirt gun, and take the 3 a back to the store where he bought it while he still has the box and receipt. I sent him a MAX D 3000 to replace the 3 a.
<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>The "S" stands for SUPER Soaker!
